These four gentlemen did a great service to each of their campaigns as they all put a very good foot forward. Very positive campaign so far, building on their own strengths. Burdette and Reed are Lawyers and great with words. Brad Sigley is a Lochheed engineer and troubleshooter (answer finder / bargain maker) from all across the U.S. Joe Waller is a businessman and helps his neighborhood group - he's been on our side of the podium in Council. They all, of course, answered that they did not like forced annexation "when it takes away from current city citizens' services," but Burdette suggested sometimes that might not be the case and Reed would have to see all sides of each case to determine what is best for the city, as did Sigley. Waller alone said NO forced annexation is my position and I'm sticking to it.
Read Art Jones' story next week 4/21 as he is much more verbose and articulate than I. Thank you to everyone who made tonight a success. Cindy Owings made a great moderator and question asker.

Please meet these candidates and encourage them to mail or e-mail their position on annexation to us to post: Candidate Positions for all Fort Worth Council Districts.
